ALL ARE WELCOME TO HIS TABLE

John 13:34-35                                                                                                  "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another. "By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another."

James 1:27                                                                                                          Pure and undefiled religion in the sight of our God and Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their distress, and to keep oneself unstained by the world.

No one really knows for sure how spirituality is related to health.

However, it seems the body, mind, and spirit are connected. The health of any one of these elements seems to affect the others. Some research shows a connection between your beliefs and your sense of well being and recovery.

Physical illness, advancements in age, the stigma of mental illness and/or substance abuse, being homeless or having difficulty leaving your home can limit your connections to the community and feeling welcome at church. Or maybe you are LGTBQ and were you raised in the Catholic or Orthodox tradition and now feel shunned by the church? Our Visitation Ministry can bring church to you. We can bring the "Last Rite" or viaticum to your home, nursing home, hospice house, or nursing home. We can bring the consecrated host to you and offer companionship, prayer and spiritual counsel. Do you live in a community, run a shelter or half-way house, work in a local hospital or assisted living nursing home and want to offer a regular  "Deacon's" Mass?  We can help with that as well.  And we now have telechaplaincy.

It is the law that you must report adult and/or child abuse if you believe it is happening. New Hampshire Law mandates that any person who has reason to suspect that a person is being abused or neglected must make a report to BEAS or DCYF, respectively. Father Chris (IHHNM) is a mandatory reporter.

A church’s (ministry) pastoral staff members, who are not licensed mental health practitioners, provide free counseling assistance to members and others. The federal government has indicated that HIPAA is not applicable to clergy members who solely provide religious healing.
